Improve Earth Science education
National Focus, Regional Delivery
TESEP cannot function without funding from businesses and other organisations. Partners recognise that TESEP can and does make a difference to the teaching of Earth Science in our schools. Partners are willing to fund TESEP to ensure there is a better understanding of the Earth Sciences within schools and to encourage more students to develop an interest in Earth Science related careers. TESEP is constantly updating and improving and new developments will include
- On-line interactive webinar delivery of PDs
- Ongoing delivery of PDs in new locations across regional Australia
- Development of national case studies to supplement existing textbooks
- Development of field guides - simply-worded stop-by-stop descriptive guides for teachers and worksheet questions for various year levels
- Purchase and distribution of quality teaching resources to participating teachers
TESEP partners are recognised for the value of either their dollar funding or their assistance in kind or the combination of both that they provide. Partnership benefits are scaled according to the level of support.

TESEP Partnering
General Partnering
An annual contribution to support TESEP operational costs, including curriculum-focussed content generation of professional development workshops and webinar series, plus rock kit, poster and online resource support and more – with acknowledgement and promotion of your support.
Five levels of annual partnership are available – with 2 to 3 year partnerships encouraged:
Platinum $30,000 +
Gold $20,000 +
Silver Plus $12,500 – $19,999
Suilver $8,000 – $12,499
Bronze up to $7,999
Schools Sponsorship
Sponsor a TESEP rock & critical minerals kits (& integrated plate tectonics poster) to schools of your choice in regional or metropolitan communities.
Sponsorship includes a Rocks Expo school visit by a TESEP presenter, with professional development workshops for local teachers, and opportunities for classroom incursions and field trips and rock checks, as well as 15 to 20min talks by sponsor geologists.
2 x rock & critical mineral kit -poster set sponsorship $5,100 (+ GST), includes visits to 2 schools sponsored by you
4 x rock kit-critical mineral kit - poster set sponsorship $10,200 (+ GST), includes visits to 4 schools sponsored by you
Other combinations, number of schools etc can be discussed. Travel costs are higher for remote regions.
Minerals Kit Sponsorship
TESEP is initiating a minerals kit to compliment the TESEP rock kit.
Sponsorship of the project is required to assist with sourcing and compilation of suitable bulk mineral samples from mines and quarries, purchase of some key minerals, kit assembly box and materials costs, and in-kind support.
Annual sponsorship opportunities are available:
